Northern Newfoundland 2019

Dates: To Be Announced

Instructor: Chris Pepper

Introduction: Join us in exploring the Northern reaches of Newfoundland. By flying into Deer Lake, we can jump right into the adventure. We will be spending some of our time in the beautiful and unique UNESCO World Heritage site Gros Morne National Park. As well, we will be venturing to Quirpon Island, located off the northernmost tip of Newfoundland. Quirpon is the province’s best location for viewing icebergs and whales are constant companions off the shores.

***Activity Level: Moderate/Strenuous - travelers should be physically fit and prepared for multiple hours of activity (e.g. hiking on uneven terrain) each day. Certain days may have more challenging physical activity, such as ascents/descents on steep mountainous terrain.***
