Bird of Prey Workshop

Chris Pepper is running birds of prey workshop in a natural setting which is a perfect backdrop for flying birds like a Harris’ Hawk, Red Tailed Hawk, Broad-winged hawk, Great Horned Owl, Barn Owl and Bald Eagle. Static birds could include an Eagle Owl, Swainson’s Hawk, Peregrine, Aplomado Falcon.

The birds are placed in some wonderful settings which again compliments the natural surroundings that these birds would occupy in the wild.  All of the birds we use on our workshops are very well looked after by our falconer and so the birds are always feather perfect which makes the final images look much more natural.

Our falconer is excellent with his birds and really understands the needs of wildlife photographers and natural looking images are what we always try to achieve.

Chris will work with everyone and teach them depth of field, camera settings and work with you in obtaining the best subject positioning for the best photos you can capture.

The cost of this workshop is $179 plus HST and runs from 9am till noon.

All participants should plan to arrive at 8:30am sharp so that we are ready to go for 9am.

Directions will be sent to you by Chris prior to the workshop.

Please contact to register before remaining spots of our 10 maximum spots are taken
